This app allows the user get into online accounts - within a browser window on the computer screen - by just scanning a 2D-Code on the login page. Both the account name and the password are managed by the app - the user does not have to memorize them any more, neither does he have to type them.

The new method is not only easier to use than the usual password method but it also more secure, in the sense that trojans sitting on the login computer are no longer able to steal the identity by tapping the password.

The method eKaay Sesame is new by January 2010. It was developed by Computer Science researchers at the Univ. of Tuebingen, Germany. You can find more information and a sample login page here:

A sample account for that login page is already supplied so that you may just scan the 2D-code on that page in order to see how Open Sesame! works.

A functionality called Foto-PIN is also built into the eKaay app: it is an optional protection against the theft of the mobile phone and allows to supply the online account with a PIN which cannot be tapped by a trojan virus sitting on the login computer. A sample account for the following sample Foto-PIN login page is already supplied:

Online transactions can be secured via the eKaay Foto-TAN method:

Via the "Remote Forwarding" functionality bookmarks can be read by the app and can be send from the mobile to the browser, after reading a "FORWARD" QR-Code. See
